Virender Sehwag gets a special birthday wish from Mohanlal on Twitter
Virender Sehwag who had turned 41 on Sunday got a special birthday wish from Mohanlal on social media. Earlier, Sehwag had also wished 'Lalettan' back in May.

Virender Sehwag was one of India's best cricketers during his tenure. He was known for his explosive batting and hard-hitting abilities. Even in Test matches, he had the ability to play big shots early on in the innings and that too at will. Be it fast bowlers or spinners, he always made them earn his wicket and used to play with fearless approach against them. Sehwag celebrated his 41st birthday on Sunday and wishes poured in from all corners which included his fans as well as the cricketing fraternity. However, there was one more special wish for the former vice-captain and it was from Malayalam superstar Mohanlal.

As Virender Sehwag turned a year older, the Complete Actor came forward to wish the champion batsman on social media. Taking to the micro-blogging site, 'Lalettan' wrote 'Happy Birthday Dear' and then put a picture of Virender Sehwag raising his bat probably after scoring a half-century or a ton. Take a look.
Earlier Viru had also wished Mohanlal on the superstar's birthday on May 21.
Virender Sehwag's career both on and off the field
Sehwag had made his international debut in 1999 and hung up his boots in 2015. During his more than one-and-a-half decade career, he has represented India in 104 Tests and 251 One Day Internationals. He was a part of many of Team India's historic wins which include the famous Natwest tri-series triumph in 2002, the unforgettable Pakistan tour in 2003/04, ICC World T20 2007. The tri-series win in Australia in 2007/08, being a part of the Indian squad which reached at the summit of the ICC Test rankings in 2009 and winning the World Cup in 2011.
Post his retirement, the former explosive batsman has excelled as a commentator and as an expert analyst of the game since the last few years with his good sense of humor. He also entertains the fans with his sense of humor on social media as well. Apart from a remarkable cricketing career as well as a successful commentary stint, the 40-year-old also served as a mentor with the IPL team Kings XI Punjab in three seasons in 2016, 2017, and 2018 respectively. will once again be taking to the cricket field along with the legends of the game including the likes of Sunil Gavaskar, Sachin Tendulkar, Brian Lara, Brett Lee, etc in the Road Safety World Series in 2020.
