WATCH: Virat Kohli takes to the streets to play gully cricket, bowls underarm

Team India batter Virat Kohli will be aiming to add many new records to his name in the upcoming ODI World Cup starting from October 5.

Indian cricket team batter Virat Kohli crashed many records during his 122* run knock against Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2023 and surpassed Sachin Tendulkar to become the fastest batter to reach 13000 ODI runs. Kohli has dominated world cricket for almost ten years and achieved milestones in his 15-year-old international career. Virat also led India's U19 team to a World Cup win in the year 2008.

Virat Kohli plays gully cricket with children on streets

In a recent promo uploaded by Star Sports on their official X (formerly known as Twitter) were seen playing gully cricket with the street children. In the video, Virat was seen bowling underarm balls to the children and also went to get back the ball once it went to someone's house in the colony. Kohli further revealed in the video that if someone had stopped him from playing then he would not have been in the Indian team.

Virat Kohli eyes major records in the upcoming ODI World Cup? 

Team India batter Virat Kohli is probably in the last phase of his career and will aim to end it on a winning note. In the upcoming ODI World Cup 2023, the Indian batter will aim to achieve many other feats such as surpassing Sachin Tendulkar in hitting the most ODI tons. Sachin has scored a total of 49 ODI centuries whereas Virat is just two tons away from levelling the marvellous feat. Virat was part of Team India's World Cup winning squad in 2011 and will want to feel the same experience in 2023.
