Ravindra Jadeja won everyone's hearts as he put up a lion-hearted effort to almost take India past the finish line during their ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 semi-final clash against New Zealand at the Old Trafford in Manchester on Wednesday.

Even though he could t win match for his team, his valiant kck was hailed by one and all. It also ended up winning heart of Maharaja Jamsaheb of Nawanagar who was so impressed by this gritty kck that he wrote a letter to Jadeja.

In letter, Maharaja has written that it was a pity that two-time world champions could t win match but he was happy with Jadeja's performance in all fields of game and n went on to congratulate cricketer.

Jaddu scored a blistering 59-ball 77 at a strike rate of 130.51 including four boundaries and four maximums and was involved in a 116-run stand for seventh wicket with MS Dhoni and almost took India on cusp of victory. Unfortunately, he was dismissed in 48th over by Trent Boult.
However, hopes were t lost till Dhoni was re in middle as everyone was confident that he would do unthinkable. But, a sharp throw from Martin Guptill in penultimate over ran him out as Kiwis emerged victorious by 18 runs with three balls to spare.
