India and Canada are gearing up to face each other in a group-stage match of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 on Saturday. This match marks the first-ever encounter between India and Canada at the highest level of cricket. India, with their vastly superior team, are the clear favourites. 

Having already secured a spot in the Super 8 stage of T20 World Cup 2024, the outcome of this game holds little significance for India. Similarly, Canada has been eliminated from advancing further in the tournament. For Canada, this match presents a valuable opportunity to compete against a cricketing giant like India.

Will rain impact India vs Canada, T20 World Cup 2024 match?

There’s a 55% chance of rain around the stadium starting at 7:00 AM local time, which may continue until 9:00 AM. Although the likelihood of precipitation will decrease afterward, cloud cover is expected to persist throughout the game. The start time has also been delayed due to the wet outfield. The toss was scheduled to take place at 10:00 AM local time but now an inspection will take place at 10:30 AM to determine if the match could be held.
