Cristiano Ronaldo again rescues Al-Nassr from elimination with last-gasp equaliser- WATCH

Al-Nassr came from behind to play out a 1-1 draw with Zamalek in the Arab Club Champions Cup. Cristiano Ronaldo's goal rescued his team from elimination.

Cristiano Ronaldo broke the shackles once again as he produced a moment of brilliance as Al-Nassr came from behind to play out a 1-1 draw with Zamalek. The Saudi Arabian outfit looked certain to another disappointing exit from the Arab Club Champions Cup but Ronaldo came to their rescue. Al-Nassr have now qualified for the knockout stages of the competition.

A defeat would have resulted in elimination but Ronaldo ensured the team start the season on the right note. At the stroke of the 87th minute Ghislain Konan floated a pinpoint cross and Ronaldo defied gravity as he rose higher to head the ball home. The Portuguese international has now scored a whopping 300 goals without his strong foot which is a massive achievement itself.

Al Nassr will now face Raja CA in  the Arab Club Champions Cup quarterfinal on 6th August.
