Euro 2020 qualifiers: 5 key players for England ahead of the qualifier

Gareth Southgate's England have two games lined-up in this month's Euro 2020 qualifiers. They will travel to the Sinobo Stadium to play against the Czech Republic on Friday night. England's next match is against Bulgaria on October 15, 2019. The English side is currently on the top spot of Group A with a win in all the four games they have played so far in Euro 2020 qualifiers. Harry Kane
Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane will lead the England pack and will be expected to deliver for them in the Euro 2020 qualifiers. Harry Kane has scored in all the Euro 2020 qualifiers he has featured in so far. He has bagged a total of six goals in four matches, including a hat-trick against Bulgaria. Kane has played 41 goals for England so far and has a total of 26 goals to his name.
Raheem Sterling
The torchbearer of Manchester City, Raheem Sterling has been a very prolific player for the Three Lions. The right-winger along with Harry Kane has dominated all the matches they have featured in so far in the Euro 2020 qualifiers. He has scored six goals so far and a hat-trick against Montenegro. Raheem Sterling has featured in 53 international games so far and has managed to score 10 goals.

Jadon Sancho
The Borussia Dortmund sensation has formed a deadly trio with Harry Kane and Raheem Sterling. He is for sure the upcoming star in world football and has a lot of calibre to succeed. He has impressed Gareth Southgate massively and is likely to start in both the upcoming games.

Harry Maguire
The $97 million Manchester United defender is the key player in Gareth Southgate’s defence. The centre-back holds the defence together and his pairing with John Stones is a wall for any good attack to cross. Maguire can occasionally score goals and is very dangerous while corners kicks or set-pieces. He is an expert with his head.

Trent Alexander-Arnold
The young right-back has shown lots of character since last season. His heroics against Barcelona in the Champions League second leg last season is still fresh in everyone’s mind. His incredible pace is unmatchable and provides lots of assists to the forwards. He is lethal while taking free-kicks and has a great eye to find his players during the attack.
