Inter Milan strengthened their grip on third place in Serie A following a 2-1 win at home to Sampdoria in their first game back since Italian football was suspended in March as a result of the coronavirus global pandemic.
First-half goals from Romelu Lukaku and Laturo Martinez won it for Antonio Conte's men who are now 12 points clear of fifth-placed Roma with 12 games remaining.
