'Kylian Mbappe asked for my...': Lamine Yamal makes a BOMBASTIC claim after Spain vs France in Euros

In an intense semi-final game to ensure their place in the UEFA Euro 2024 final, Spain beat France 2-1 in the Allianz Arena on Tuesday. In the eighth minute, Randal Kolo Muani drove his supporters into a frenzy as he put France ahead, starting the game fiercely. But Spain responded quickly with Dani Olmo's explosive score in the 25th and Lamine Yamal's magnificent goal in the 21st. France worked hard for an equaliser, and both sides fought valiantly; Spain's defence was outstanding. With 6 shots and 59% of possession, Spain proved their on-field ability by controlling the game. This victory paves the ground for an incredible final as Spain continues its search for the UEFA Euro 2024 championship. Spain will face England on Sunday as both teams look to clinch the coveted trophy.

Lamine Yamal reveals Kylian Mbappe asked for his shirt after Spain knocked-out France in the UEFA Euro 2024 semifinal 

After their teams met off at Euro 2024, Barcelona star Lamine Yamal stated Kylian Mbappe asked for his shirt. Tuesday, July 9's semi-final defeat of Mbappe and the French team against Spain 2-1

The youthful Spanish brilliance was evident throughout the game; he scored an amazing long-range goal to level La Roja in the 21st minute. Spain grabbed on this momentum, Dani Olmo scored the winning goal just four minutes later.

Yamal noted in a recent interview with MARCA that the 2018 World Cup winner asked for his shirt. He said, as Fabrizio Romano reported:

Lamine Yamal had a remarkable and significant season before to Euro 2024, as he played in 50 matches for his club and achieved seven goals and ten assists. Yamal encountered Kylian Mbappe in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League, with Paris Saint-Germain emerging as the winners. Following Mbappe's transfer to Real Madrid, both players will persist in competing against each other in forthcoming seasons.

The young star is currently bound by a contractual agreement with Barcelona until the summer of 2026, whilst Mbappe has entered into a five-year agreement with Real Madrid following his transfer from PSG for free during the summer.

Yamal has participated in six matches for Spain at the European Championships, scoring one goal and providing three assists. Kylian Mbappe on the other hand had a tournament to forget after scoring one goal in the tournament from a penalty and was seen struggling in France's jersey in the Euros.
