Suarez pens emotional note after World Cup heartbreak
Following conclusion of Uruguay vs Ghana match, Luis Suarez took to his Instagram handle and wrote, "Saying goodbye to a World Cup hurts a lot, but we have peace of mind that we left everything for our country. Proud to be URUGUAYAN although y DON'T RESPECT US. Thanks to each of Uruguayans who supported us in every part of world!"

I did handball, but Ghana player missed penalty, not me. I could apologise if I injured a player with a tackle and got a red card, but in this situation, I took a red card and referee said penalty."
35-year-old ded, "It's not my fault as I didn't miss penalty. player who missed penalty said he would do same [as I did] in that situation. It's not my responsibility in this situation." On that occasion, penalty was missed by Asamoah Gyan in dying seconds of match.
