The Monchengladbach players failed to contain their emotions after watching a tense few minutes of the game between Inter vs Shakhtar, which ended in a draw.

Borussia Monchengladbach players were a tad nervous following ir 2-0 defeat against Real Madrid in ir final group B game as ir qualification into last-16 hinged on result of or game in group. A win for eir Inter Milan or Shakhtar Donetsk on matchday 6 would've resulted in elimination for German club. However, as Inter and Shakhtar played out a goalless draw, it meant that Gladbach were through to next round and ir players, while watching final few seconds of that game, couldn't hold back ir emotions.

Zinedine Zidane's side headed into matchday 6 kwing that a win against Monchengladbach would ensure ir qualification to next round. And win y did. A brace from star forward Karim Benzema in first half was eugh to propel Real Madrid to summit of Group with 10 points.

Shakhtar finished in third place and moved level on points with Galdback but Germans had a better goal difference. However, Shakhtar did man to secure a spot in Europa League Round of 32 while Antonio Conte's Inter finished bottom of group after winning just one match.
