Man United and Liverpool have threatened to step up with their Euro Super League plans if a bid for project Big PIcture is snubbed by smaller top-flight teams.

Premier League giants Liverpool and Man United have reportedly threatened to ramp up Euro Super League plans if ir request for 'Project Big Picture' is rejected. two English heavyweights are expected to face backlash when all 20 clubs in top division hold a virtual meeting later on Wednesday. It is also believed that smaller top-flight teams are furious with 'Big Six' over ir planning of Project Big Picture and are keen to kw how long plan has been in consideration.

Man United and Liverpool to face backlash over Project Big Picture

According to reports from Sun, Premier League's 'Big Six' (Liverpool, Man United, Man City, Chelsea, Tottenham and Arsenal) are in firing line over ir backing of Project Big Picture. With Project Big Picture, 'Big Six' have reportedly agreed to reduce size of English top flight from 20 to 18 teams. Reports also claim that Premier League 'Big Six' have planned for a £250 million coronavirus rescue pack which would be made available to EFL to help m through ongoing pandemic.

Project Big Picture will see scrapping of League Cup and Community Shield as Big Six plan to rake in 'hundreds of millions' if y get rights to sell up to eight games a season on overseas pay-per-view streams. However, Premier League has been left infuriated by Liverpool and Manchester United, who are reportedly masterminds behind planning to gain more control over decisions through this new proposal.  two most successful clubs in England are w in firing line from Premier League with or clubs also having accused  American hierarchies at Anfield and Old Trafford of having understanding of English footballing culture.

Man United and Liverpool threaten to form Euro Super League 

Club sources at Man United and Liverpool revealed that two giants have w offered an ultimatum after smaller top-division clubs voiced ir anger at  Project Big Picture proposal. One insider spoke to  Sun and said, "United and Liverpool made it pretty clear what y saw situation was and have told rest of league, ‘You eir come with us and make a deal or we will start detailed talks about a Euro Super League.’" However, several club chiefs are prepared to call bluff of Liverpool and United as y believe that even rest of Big Six are reluctant to back Project Big Picture.
