MLB Trade rumours: Mets willing to add Dominic Smith in Lowrie-Familia pack
question here is wher New York Mets should use Dominic Smith in what's effectively a dam control procedure. Smith batted .282 and slugged .525 with 11 home runs and 25 RBI in 89 games in 2019. 24-year-old is t due free ncy till 2025. only reason for Mets to trade him would be because he fits better as a first baseman, which creates a problem for Mets since National League Rookie of Year Pete Alonso is ir long-term answer at first.
