Noida Stadium opens after 4 months, athletes ordered to download Aarogya Setu app
The Noida Authority announced the reopening of the Noida Cricket Stadium on Wednesday, with athletes mandatorily ordered to download Aarogya Setu app for entry.

Despite rising number of coronavirus cases in ida, ida Stium reopened for athletes and public with curtailed timings on Wednesday. Strict guidelines have been put in place to ensure social distancing and health regulations as stium reopened after four months due to ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Visitors have been asked to mandatorily install Aarogya Setu app on ir smartphones, a contact tracing digital service developed by Government of India.

In light of rising number of coronavirus cases in ida, CM Yogi ityanath's government in Uttar Presh has issued strict guidelines for visitors at ida Cricket Stium. stium is mand by ida Authority, which h ordered its closure on March 15 due to health crisis. ida authority, in line with Uttar Presh Chief Minister's Yogi ityanath office, listed a slew of guidelines to be followed, including installation of Aarogya Setu app.

According to guidelines issued by ida Authority, ida Cricket Stium will remain open from 5 AM to 9 AM and 4 PM to 8 PM. installation of Aarogya Setu app has been listed as mandatory for all athletes, players, stium members and visitors. Furrmore, guidelines state that all visitors, members and athletes must ensure that social distancing rms are followed at all times and that y all have face masks or covers.
Athletes have been vised to bring ir own sporting equipment for sports like cricket, bminton, squash, tennis, golf and also carry disinfectants and sanitisers while bringing in ir own drinking water to stium. While installation of Aarogya Setu app is mandatory, guidelines, however, do t mention entry rules for any visitor without a smartphone or a phone.

Aarogya Setu app is a mobile application developed by Government of India to connect essential health services with people in fight against COVID-19. application is an open-source contact tracing, syndromic mapping and self-assessment digital service developed by National Informatics Centre under Ministry of Electronics and Information Techlogy. Aarogya Setu app is intended at expanding initiatives of Central Government, particularly Department of Health, in proactively reaching out to and informing users concerning risks, best practices and appropriate visories pertaining to containment of COVID-19.
