Bengal Warriors won their match against Telugu Titans on September 25 at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur (19:30 IST). Bengal Warriors, who have already qualified for the playoffs, extended their unbeaten run to seven matches. Once again, Maninder Singh managed to lead his team to victory. Following this match, Bengal Warriors have moved to the top of Vivo Pro Kabaddi League Season 7 standings. Telugu Titans remain at the eleventh position.
PKL 2019 Bengal Warriors vs Telugu Titans: Match Highlights
- Two minutes after the game started, skipper Maninder Singh completed 150 touchpoints for PKL season 7.
- Maninder Singh took out Vishal Bhardwaj and Akash Choudhary, successfully implementing an all-out few minutes before the first half came to an end.
- Rinku Narwal completed 50 tackle points for PKL season 7.
- Four minutes after the second half began, Bengal Warrior’s Sukesh Hegde raided unsuccessfully, which resulted in an all-out for the team. He did, however, take a bonus which tied the score 22-22.
- With the above raid, Hegde completed his 400 overall total points.
- Siddharth Baahubali Desai’s three-point super raid in the second half was undoubtedly the moment of the day. Rinku Narwal, Jeeva Kumar, Sunil Manik Dubile were sent back to the bench.
- Maninder Singh completed his super 10 for the match with thirteen minutes for the match left to go.
- A few minutes later, even Siddharth Desai got his Super 10 for the game.
- Nine minutes into the second half, Siddharth Desai completed 150 total points for the season.
- Towards the end of the game, Abozar Mighani completed his High 5 after tackling Mohammad Nabibakhsh.
Telugu Titans will face Jaipur Pink Panthers next on Friday, September 27. On the other hand, Bengal Warriors will face Dabang Delhi on Monday, September 30 who are currently placed at number two on the PKL points table.
