Patrick McEnroe recovering from COVID-19, backs Wimbledon cancellation

A day after announcing he has tested positive for the coronavirus, Patrick McEnroe thanked his supporters and health care workers in a twiiter post and urged everyone to help in the fight against the pandemic.

A day after anuncing he has tested positive for coronavirus, Patrick McEnroe thanked his supporters and health care workers in a twiiter post and urged everyone to help in fight against pandemic.

He had earlier posted that he had himself tested after developing symptoms of virus, but was w feeling fine and in self-isolation at home.

53-year-old McEnroe, who is a former French Open doubles champion, US Davis Cup captain and bror of tennis legend John McEnroe, also said that cancelling Wimbledon was "absolutely right decision".
