Undertaker believes Cody Rhodes will be a humongous success if he turns into a heel character

Cody Rhodes has reached to the skies when it comes to his run in the WWE. He has amassed a gargantuan fan following, since his return and has portrayed himself as a strong babyface character. After dethroning Roman Reigns, he has become the true face of the wrestling promotion as he continues his legacy forward. Since his WWE return, Cody has been a babyface and has been a massive draw, and the management wants to run it as he has attracted a lot of success. The return has been nothing less than successful in terms of success and revenue. As good as Rhodes has been as a babyface so far, what if he turns into a big bad heel? Will he attain the Roman Reigns-level greatness? The Undertaker offers his take on the scenario.

The Undertaker feels Cody Rhodes could excel as a heel character

During an interview with Chris Van Vliet, the Undertaker stated that after evaluating Cody Rhodes' talents and current state of affairs in the WWE, he might turn heel. The Phenom expressed hope that despite his good guy antics, which have made him one of the company's most renowned babyfaces since the Attitude Era, Rhodes will make it big in the antagonistic position.

“I think he’s doing a phenomenal job, I think he’s gonna have a tremendous run as a babyface but I think his bigger run will be as a heel. There’s just something about Cody with me that I envision a heel…it’s down the road because right now he’s killing it as the babyface,” The Deadman said.

The Undertaker's advice may go down as one of the best things ever as given his stature in the wrestling realm, his advices are always gold. Moreover, Cody Rhodes, heelish antics were wildly popular when he was in New Japan Pro Wrestling, Ring of Honor, and TNA. Rhodes is a star when it comes to in-ring abilities and mic skills, which have to be the qualities of a heel character. Probably Cody could go full Homelander and cause havoc once they turn his character.

Maybe down the road, the WWE Universe may be able to see a heel Cody Rhodes. But before that, the promotion needs to build the next big babyface.
