WWE: Sting wants to face The Undertaker
WWE fans always wanted to see a match between The Undertaker and WCW superstar Sting, but that never happened. When Sting returned to WWE in 2014, fans were convinced that he would face The Undertaker. However, the dream match did not happen as Sting faced Triple H at WrestleMania 31 and then he went on to face Seth Rollins. In 2015, Sting left WWE after he suffered a neck injury.
After that, Sting was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame and made many special appearances in the WWE. Although chances of Sting’s return to the WWE ring are quite slim, fans still believe that a match between The Deadman and Sting is possible. Earlier, while talking to fans, The Stinger laughingly said that he would love to face The Undertaker and he is open to everything.
According to WCW, Sting is the greatest performer to enter the WCW ring. Sting’s rival Hulk Hogan revealed that Sting should be mentioned in any conversation regarding the top 10 greatest pro wrestlers of all time. Sting has also been voted by Pro Wrestling Illustrated readers as "Most Popular Wrestler of the Year" four times. In an interview, Current WWE Universal Champion Bray Wyatt praised the Stinger and said that he would love to fight the WCW legend.
"I would really like to take on Sting. I have to have that before I die. I don't care if it happens outside a Waffle House, somewhere."
