Google Messages for Web: How to sync your Android messages with PC

Google now lets users chat with their friends through 'Messages for Web' by showing all their conversation from its mobile app. Since it uses a connection from your computer to your phone. So, you will still bear all your SMS charges.

Google w lets users chat with ir friends through 'Messs for Web' by showing all ir conversation from its mobile app. Since it uses a connection from your computer to your phone, you will still bear all your SMS charges.

Similar to WhatsApp Web, users have to pair ir mobile app to ir PC by scanning QR code. Pairing can be done across multiple devices. However, only one device or browser tab will be active at a time.

How to get started with Google Messs for Web

  1. Downlo latest version of Messs app on your phone
  2. Make sure you have an active data or Wi-Fi connection.
  3. You need one of se browsers on your PC: Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Microsoft Edge.
  4. Make sure your PC is connected to Internet.

How to set up Google Messs for Web

  1. Open Messs app on your Android phone.
  2. Go to More > Messs for Web.
  3. Open https://messs.google.com/web on your PC.
  4. Scan QR code using Messs app

How to make Messs default messaging app

  1. Open Messs app on your phone.
  2. Change your default messaging app to Messs when prompted.
  3. Follow all on-screen instructions.

How to remember login on Web

  1. Open Messs app on your Android phone.
  2. Go to More > Messs for Web.
  3. Open https://messs.google.com/web on your PC.
  4. Switch slider “Remeber this computer.”

Upon receiving a new, unre mess, Messs icon in your browser tab will show a red tification and number of unre messs. Messs for Web supports Dark mode. Go to Messs for Web > Tap More > Settings > Turn on Enable dark me or High contrast mode.

How to sign out of Messs for Web

You can sign out of Messs for Web if you want to prevent or people from seeing your messs when you are t around your PC. If you are on your computer, go to Messs for Web > More > Sign out. 

If you want to sign out from Messs for Android, tap More >Messs for Web > Choose where to sign out. If you have logged in to multiple computers, you can sign out of a specific computer by tapping Delete > Sign out.
