Xiaomi’s Manu Kumar Jain has now teased an important announcement involving children, for Children’s Day that falls on 14 November each year. Xiaomi recently announced Water Purifier to cater to the problem of hard water in India. Xiaomi's Air Purifier has already found a good market specially given the poor AQI in many of the cities in India. Xiaomi is now getting ready for a new Children’s Day announcement. 

Manu Jain took to Twitter to reveal that the latest offering by Xiaomi would impact (positively) lakhs of children in India. This offering would be unveiled on 14 November – on Children’s Day. As soon as this announcement went public, Twitterati seems to be impatient to check out the impending Xiaomi offering. Check out Jain’s announcement, and reactions, below.

The smartphone maker is now bringing in the ecosystem products to India after having tasted success with some of the products. At this point in time, Xiaomi's Mi Water Purifier has turned out to be popular in India. The company also announced a beard trimmer not too long ago. Hence, gauging these products, it is clear that Xiaomi also has a potentially close societal focus. A Mi Notebook for kids - as hinted by a Twitterati could very well be possible. This, in case materializes, would sure be an affordable "value-for-money" offering. These could positively impact the way in which children learn - through interactive games, puzzles, and more through a computer.
