Chinese Smartphone Brands Which Are Big Names In India Announce Collaboration For New File Sharing Functionality

Chinese smartphone brands – Xiaomi, Oppo, and Vivo – all major players in India have collaborated to create a file transfer service between ir brands. This new system would be based on peer-to-peer framework.  

Details regarding this new file transfer system have been shared by MIUI via Weibo (translated) and are claimed to let users indulge in one- transfer of files; without having to install third-party applications. Also, all major file formats are said to be supported through this new network.

transfer rate is also claimed to be 20MB/second. This would be transferred via Bluetooth connectivity. 

above Weibo post, by Xiaomi also asks or manufacturers to join new alliance for file transfer. This new file transfer techlogy may also come bundled with newer- futuristic smartphones of Oppo, Xiaomi, and Vivo; but wher or t this would be present by default is still yet to be confirmed by companies.

In related news, Xiaomi has established nearly 2000 Mi Stores that are offline. USP of se stores is ir employment generation potential – which is said to be 4000 jobs. Xiaomi’s 2000th Mi Store was recently inaugurated in Karnataka’s Tumkur city.
