China confirms fourth death from mysterious coronavirus in Wuhan

Chinese authorities have anunced a fourth death caused by new coronavirus strain in Wuhan. Local authorities anunced that victim was an 89-year-old man. new SARS-like virus has spread all across China and into at least three or countries in Asia with confirmed cases in Japan, South Korea and Thailand as reported by ncies.

fourth victim fell ill on January 13 and was admitted to hospital, man reportedly had breathing difficulties on fifth day and died next day. authorities also added that patient also suffered from several -related complications like hypertension, diabetes and coronary heart disease.

According to authorities, re are currently 169 people who are being treated hospital in Wuhan. In a separate statement that was posted on official Weibo account of Wuhan  Municipal Health Commission, 15 medical workers have also been diagsed with pneumonia. Of infected staff, one is said to be in critical condition.

news of fourth death comes amidst Chines government reporting that infection is contagious between humans. Authorities and scientists believe seafood market at Wuhan to be epicentre of outbreak. During an interview with local Chinese media, Zhong Nanshan, a rewned scientist at National Health Commission, said that coronavirus could be contracted without having visited Wuhan city.

authorities confirmed that re were a total of 217 new cases of Corona Virus in China. Of se 217, 198 were reported from city of Wuhan itself, where virus was first discovered. Since initial outbreak, disease has spread beyond Wuhan city to or Chinese cities and even or countries. Beijing and Shanghai have also reported ir first cases of disease.
