Qin Chin, a Facebook employee allegedly committed suicide at the Menlo park-based headquarters on September 19 as he apparently jumped from a building

Qin Chin, a Facebook employee allegedly committed suicide at Menlo park-based hequarters. On September 19, he reportedly jumped from a building at campus as he might have allegedly endured bullying at social media firm. family of Chin is reportedly taking social networking company to court and law firm representing family of Chin claimed that firm is conducting an investigation into circumstances surrounding death. y furr ded that re seems to be conflicting information about circumstances related to death.

“Our firm is conducting an investigation into circumstances surrounding death. We have met with Facebook attorneys and representatives and will continue those conversations with Facebook in days and weeks to come. re seems to be conflicting information about circumstances related to death. We are sorting through inconsistent reports in an effort to determine truth for family.”

Investigation on Facebook?

A twitter group “Justice for Qin Chin” also shared photos of protests held on behalf of Chen. y furr demand an internal investigation into work conditions at Facebook. y said “Voice needs to be heard! Action needs to be taken! We deserve TRUTH!”. In a tweet, y also said, “Call for Facebook to start full investigation and action to prevent future trdies”. protests that were promoted by articles and videos led to more than 100 people garing across Bay Area near intersection of Willow Ro and Bayfront Expressway. At protests, six people reportedly stood in front of large crowd, out of which four of m were holding up signs that re “We deserve truth”.

'Tragic news'

A Facebook spokesperson reportedly claimed that y are sdened by tragic news that company has lost one of ir employees to suicide at Metro Park hequaters. He furr ded that company was doing everything to support Chen's family and loved ones during time. Law Firm has claimed that y have met Facebook attorneys and representatives and y will continue conversations with Facebook in weeks to come.
