While the internet is flooded with many videos depicting the devastation caused by Hurricane Dorian in the Bahamas, a video of a man tackling the disaster has gone viral. The video shows a Florida resident giving a peculiar solution to tackle the hurricane as he says the Navy should throw “ice” at Hurricane Dorian to stop it.
Use Navy and drop ice
While standing outside in a floral beach shirt, the man said that everyone is aware of what is happening around them then why does the navy not fly its plane around the hurricane to make the winds go in the other direction. “I don’t see how they haven’t come up with some way to combat these storms yet,” said an unidentified man in the video. “All this warm weather and warm water. We have Navy. Why doesn’t the Navy come and drop ice in the warm water so it can’t get going as fast as it’s going,” he suggested.
The peculiar idea has received more than 3 million views and many netizens came up with hilarious responses.
A Twitter user reacted to the video saying does this guy act as the adviser to the White House?
The tweet garnered a lot of attention followed by a lot of hilarious reactions with one saying Greenland is already losing ice. Another netizen said this guy should be given an award for solving the problem of global warming.
Another Twitter user said that Trump and the unidentified man should have a meeting and discuss on important scientific issues. One of the netizens said that based on the amount of energy a hurricane emits and the amount of energy in a jet's fuel, it would take the jets 2700 years to counter the hurricane's energy.
Deadly Dorian
Meanwhile, Hurricane Dorian came to a catastrophic daylong halt over the northwest Bahamas, flooding the islands of Abaco and Grand Bahama with walls of water that lapped into the second floors of buildings, trapped people in attics and drowned the Grand Bahama airport under 6 feet of water.
