The members of the cast and crew often participate in personal celebrations of their colleagues and that’s what happened with Mohanlal after he was felicitated with the Padma Bhushan. Suniel Shetty, director Priyadarshan and the others celebrated the occasion together on the sets of 'Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham.'
From cutting the cake and sharing it with his co-star Suniel, Priyadarshan and veteran art director Sabu Cyril, Mohanlal had a great way to celebrate the occasion.
Suniel took to Instagram and sharing pictures, wrote, “On the sets of ‘MARKAAR’ celebrating PadmaBhushan Mohanlal sir, the genius sabucyril and my favourite hera pheri man Priyadarshan sir... An opportunity to work with the best in the business of entertainment... Blessed!!! @mohanlal #priyadarshan @sabu_cyril.” (sic)
Mohanlal was honoured with the Padma Bhushan, the Government’s third-highest civilian honour on March 11 by President Ram Nath Kovind. Sharing snaps from the ceremony, the Malayalam superstar had tweeted, “Received #PadmaBhushan, The 3rd Highest Civilian Award from The Honorable President of India, with jubilation. I express fervent gratitude to the Supreme Power & all well wishers, for being a part of my journey. Truly happy with this inimitable moment. #PadmaAwards.”
Apart from Mohanlal and Suniel’s reunion with Priyadarshan, with whom they have done numerous films, ‘Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham’ also reportedly stars Sudeep, Mukesh, Siddique, Manju Warrier, Keerthy Suresh, Arjun Sarja, Prabhudeva, among others.
