In an unfortunate accident, an Indian aviation technician with Kuwait Airways was killed while towing an aircraft at company's base airport, according to a media report on Tuesday. technical staff member, a native of Thiruvananthapuram, was towing Boeing 777 aircraft when tow bar broke, killing him on spot.

report, however, did t identify deceased technician. crew members or passengers were on board aircraft when incident happened, it said.

Kuwait Airways has expressed ir regret at tragic incident, report said.

Towing involves moving of large aircraft from runway to terminal or hangar. victim is survived by his wife and daughter. According to media reports, his body was moved to mortuary following inquest and will be flown to Kerala.
