Navalny flying out of Germany at midnight, says flight organiser

Film producer Jaka Bizilj, who is organising a flight to bring stricken Russian opposition activist Alexei Navalny to Germany for medical treatment, told Associated Press on Thursday night that a plane would leave Germany for Russia at midnight.

Navalny has allegedly been poisoned and is in a coma.

If he is in any condition to be transported, plane would return to Germany first thing on Friday.

Bizilj said costs of flight and treatment were paid for by private citizens and that Berlin's Charité Hospital would treat Navalny.

Charité could t immediately be reached to confirm y h agreed to accept Navalny as a patient.
