Protests against World Economic Forum turn violent, Zurich police shoot tear gas
On Wednesday, protests erupted against the World Economic Forum in Zurich outside the summit, where stronger action to tackle Climate Crisis was demanded.

On Wednesday, January 22, protests erupted against World Ecomic Forum in Zurich asking for stronger action to tackle Climate Crisis. With banners that re, “Zurich against WEF” demonstrators in Zurich lit fireworks and threw bottles to express ir r against forum that is being held in Davos.
Swiss police h to use water canns, rubber bullets and tear gas to curb protests during which three people were arrested, and one passerby was injured. A policeman was also hospitalized during protests as per details by Zurich police.

As per reports of Zurich police, protests caused property dam in “thousands of Swiss francs”. “Even after end of official event at around 20:30, several groups of violent people remained at scene to keep officers busy,” police stated.

50th annual World Ecomic Forum is being held in Davos in Switzerland. Around 3,000 people from around world have come toger to use this forum to discuss this year's me which is called "Stakeholders for a Cohesive and Sustainable World". me is mainly centred around rising effects of Climate Crisis across globe.
