Qatar and Turkey are planning to boost their cooperation into a comprehensive strategic partnership according to Qatar's foreign ministry on November 5. Doha is dealing with a prolonged boycott by the Gulf nations. The foreign ministry tweeted that the decision was taken at a minister-level meeting of the Qatari-Turkish Higher Strategic Committee that took place in Doha on Monday. Turkey gave its hands to Qatar after the Gulf countries including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Egypt cut all ties with Qatar in mid-2017 blaming it of funding the terrorist organisations. Doha denies all the accusations and says the gulf countries are targeting the nation to affect its sovereignty.
