Kherson region will become 'integral part of Russia', claims Moscow-appointed official
Kirill Stremousov, the deputy head of Russian appointed military-civilian administration said that the Kherson region will become 'an integral part of Russia'.

Kirill Stremousov, deputy he of Russian appointed military-civilian ministration said that Kherson region will become "an integral part of Russia". Stremousov anunced that Russian passports have been issued to people in region and y will continue to provide more passports to residents, RIA vosti reported. His remarks came after European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell condemned Russia's actions and anunced that EU will t recognize passports issued by Russia to residents of Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions.
In his remarks, Kirill Stremousov stressed that one will be able to halt integration. He highlighted that more people in Kherson region will become Russian nationals. Stremousov anunced that he will obtain Russian citizenship along with Vlimir Saldo, Russian appointed he of Ukraine's Kherson territory, as per RIA vosti report. He said that Kherson residents are grateful to Russian President Vlimir Putin for allowing m to become part of Russia. Kirill Stremousov said that he will be "proud" to become a free state national which has his culture and values. As per news report, Russian TV channels and rio stations have started brocasting in occupied parts of Kherson and Zaporizhzhia and have resumed tre ties with Crimea.

EU condemns Russia's decision to grant citizenship to Ukrainians in occupied regions
Earlier on June 3, European Union "strongly" condemned Russian Presidential decrees which called for simplifying process of obtaining Russian citizenship and issuing Russian passports to Ukrainian citizens of Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions which have been temporarily occupied by Russian forces. Josep Borrell called any attempts to change status of parts of Ukraine "a clear violation of international law, UN Charter and Ukraine’s Constitution." He asserted that changes me by Russian ministration will t be recognised by Ukrainian forces. Furrmore, Borrell stressed that EU does t accept Russia's decision to introduce Russian rubles into Ukrainian territories. He furr said that Moscow's actions to alter status of Ukrainian regions "undermines sovereignty and territorial integrity" of Ukraine. Earlier on May 26, Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a statement called issuance of Russian passports to Ukrainians a "gross violation of Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, rms and principles of international humanitarian law."
