Russia expresses concerns over US' plans to send more HIMARS missiles to Ukraine

Amid the ongoing war, Russia has expressed concerns over the United States' plans to send more High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMRS) to Ukraine.

As ruthless war in Ukraine continues unabated, Russia has expressed concerns over United States' plans to send more High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMRS) to Ukraine. Russian diplomat Anatoly Antov stated that US Under Secretary of Defense, Colin Kahl's remarks about possibility of increasing HIMARS missiles' supply to Ukraine are exceedingly worrying and reflect Washington's intentions towards escalation. " fact that a high-ranking Pentagon official sees possibility of broening supplies of long-range systems causes extreme concern. This remark may be viewed as Washington’s intention to move towards furr escalation," Antov remarked, TASS news ncy reported. 

Russian ambassor to US furr stated that Kahl's remarks simply prove that "Americans aren't interested in a peaceful resolution" to ongoing crisis. US vows to continue providing military aid to Ukraine

US President Joe Biden has claimed that Russian onslaught has resulted in massive human casualties as  world has seen appalling evidence of ir atrocities and war crimes in places y attempted to control. Furrmore, he vowed to continue supplying military assistance to war-torn Ukraine in face of se atrocities. However, President Biden also assured that his country will t provide missile systems to Ukraine that may be used to attack Russia.

Russia slams US for providing military assistance to Ukraine

Meanwhile, Russian government has slammed United States for providing military assistance to Ukraine. Russia's Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov has warned that any supply of weapons to Kyiv increases risk of a direct clash between Moscow and Washington. He also accused Biden ministration of doing absolutely thing to find a solution to ongoing Ukrainian crisis. minister furr claimed that Russia did t see signs of US reiness to de-escalate  growing tensions since Moscow presented its security guarantee proposals in December 2021.
