Netizens in love with video of Shabad Kirtan at Great Wall of China

A clip posted by an Indian in China during Gurpurab showing people of the Sikh community singing Shabad Kirtan on the Great Wall of China has gone viral.

A clip showing people of the Sikh community singing Shabad Kirtan on the Great Wall of China has gone viral. An Indian, Harnidh Kaur who happened to be in China during the time of 550th birth anniversary of the founder of Sikhism, Guru Nanak Dev posted a video of a group of people playing the melodious prayer with Harmonium and Tabla sitting on the Great Wall on November 7. The Twitter user further said that Langar, a communal free kitchen of the Sikh community took place at the embassy afterwards. Soon after the video was posted on the internet, people around the world expressed their joy.

'Kadha Prashad in China'

The people of the internet showered their 'love' on the diversity of the community on the occasion. Harnidh also revealed that she never imagined she will receive 'Kadha Prashad in China'. One of the Twitter users also confessed that even though he was initially not sad about celebrating Gurpurab at home, watching the clip had made him 'homesick'. Others also said that the video made them 'very happy'. One internet user said that the video posted by Harnidh was the 'best thing she saw' that day and that it is 'lovely.
