Doctor comments on UK PM Johnson moved to ICU

An NHS doctor said British Prime Minister Boris Johnson was not moved to intensive care as a precaution but because he is most likely very sick from the new coronavirus.

An NHS doctor said British Prime Minister Boris Johnson was t moved to intensive care as a precaution but because he is most likely very sick from new coronavirus.

Speaking on Sky News about Johnson's condition, Dr Ellie Cann explained: "He may have gone to hospital as a precautionary measure, but he would have gone into intensive care because y are worried about state of his health."

Johnson was mitted to St Thomas' Hospital in London on Sunday, 10 days after he was diagsed with COVID-19.

For most people, new coronavirus causes mild or moderate symptoms, such as fever and cough that clear up in two to three weeks.

For some, especially older ults and people with existing health problems, it can cause more severe illness, including pneumonia and death.
