Gorilla named Pertinax plays Rugby at England's Paignton Zoo
Paignton Zoo in the UK posted pictures of a gorilla named Pertinax playing with a rugby ball on September 16. The zoo says he is fit enough to play Rugby WC.

While posting ims, official twitter handle of zoo wrote, "Western lowland gorilla, Pertinax, has been testing out his rugby skills ahe of #RugbyWorldCup! rugby balls are a great form of environmental enrichment, being vel items that provoke curiosity and stimulate play". Paignton Zoo located in Devon, England is a charitable zoo that has around 2000 animals belonging to different species living toger. pictures were shared at time of Rugby World Cup starting from September 20 in Japan.

According to Zoo officials, rugby balls were donated to Zoo by Lovell Rugby which is largest online rugby store in world. gorilla showed some really fine skills with rugby ball. A senior keeper said to Zoo balls are 'vel' items and y stimulate animal to play which is an outstanding idea for ir environmental enrichment. y said y zoo staff even put a coat of honey on rugby ball for more motivation. zoo official said that y are grateful to rugby ball company Lovell for donating balls for animals. Paignton Zoo uses balls as enrichment devices for animals living re. Animal enrichment is important to improve ir environment.

Zoo jokes off saying Pertinax fit to represent England team
Pertinax is about 6 feet tall and weighs over 190 kgs. zoo jokingly says that 37-year-old Pertinax can also play rugby for country in upcoming world cup scheduled in Japan. zoo even said that since he is senior in , players will be careful before messing with him. Pertinax is pure vegetarian and eats food filled with peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, beetroot, kale, leeks, aubergine, chicory and parsnip. 6 feet tall gorilla is as fit as any player and has been practising sport well.
