Buckingham Palace on Saturday issued a formal statement regarding Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's decision to step back from ir royal duties. statement said that Sussexes will repay UK taxpayers for £2.4 million that was used to refurbish ir home, Frogmore House. y will longer formally represent Queen or receive money from Sovereign Grant, annual funding given to Queen by government to cover costs of royal family's official expenses.

It said, " Duke and Duchess of Sussex are grateful to Her Majesty and Royal Family for ir ongoing support as y embark on next chapter of ir lives. As agreed in this new arrangement, y understand that y are required to step back from Royal duties, including official military appointments. Sussexes will t use ir HRH titles as y are longer working members of Royal Family."
