As Coronavirus outbreak escalates in parts of Europe, making it the hotspot for the disease, a group of volunteers has come together to help the homeless in UK.

As coronavirus outbreak escalates in parts of Europe, making it hotspot for disease, a group of volunteers has come toger to help homeless in United Kingdom. According to reports, Jorawar Singh Rathour, co-founder of London Homeless Welfare Team (LHWT) has put toger a team to distribute supplies to homeless community in city.

As per a post shared by London Homeless Welfare Team (LHWT), pack contains information about how to protect oneself from coronavirus and also includes soaps, tissue packs, and water bottles. post furr ded that Welfare team will collaborate with community hub for a future food drive as many homeless people pass by re. As per reports, group has also set-up a GoFundMe p to raise money for project. A Facebook user on post commented, "Well done" appreciating task taken over by welfare team.

According to reports, 35 people in United Kingdom have lost ir lives due to vel coronavirus. re are currently 1,336 active cases in country of which 20 patients remain under critical condition. United Kingdom has successfully treated 20 people in last three months. United Kingdom government has vised all citizens to avoid n-essential travelling as a precautionary measure. British government has also postponed local election to 2021 after a request for same from Election Commission.

COVID-19 has claimed more than 6,500 lives across world and has infected over 1,69,000 people globally since it first broke out in December 2019. China is most affected country in world as experts believe that virus originated from a seafood market in Wuhan city, epicentre of disease, where animals were reportedly being tred illegally. Italy, Iran, Spain and South Korea are or highly impacted countries where a combined death toll from disease stands at 2,900.
