US-Afghan operation in Paktika province kills at least 90 terrorists
Nearly 120 Taliban terrorists were killed or at least wounded in a joint operation conducted by the forces of Afghanistan and the United States of America.

Nearly 120 Taliban terrorists were killed or at least wounded in a joint operation conducted by forces of Afghanistan and United States of America on Sunday. It took place in south-eastern province of Paktika in Afghanistan. spokesperson of security forces revealed that y h killed at least 90 terrorists besides injuring 20 ors. According to Khaama Press News ncy, Afghan security forces launched this operation with support of US airpower. ditionally, Afghan National Army’s 203rd Thunder Corps stated that 23 motorcycles, a tractor, and some weapons were destroyed in operation.

Hamza Bin Len’s death
latest blow to Taliban comes just a day after US President Donald Trump confirmed death of Al Qaeda leer Hamza Bin Len. d about 30 years old, Hamza was 15th son of Al Qaeda founder Osama Bin Len. According to President Trump, he was killed in a US counter-terrorism operation in Afghanistan-Pakistan region. US President stated that Hamza was responsible for planning and dealing with several terrorist organizations.

President Trump's tough line on Taliban
On Saturday, US President Donald Trump claimed that Taliban h been hit harder than ever before. He condemned killing of 12 people, including an American soldier. President Trump reiterated that this was t appropriate way for Taliban to come to negotiating table. Stating that y h committed a big mistake, he stressed that Taliban h way to get out of this situation.

Earlier, US President called off scheduled secret meeting at Camp David presidential retreat with Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani and Taliban leers after a car bomb attack in capital city Kabul. Peace talks between US and Taliban began in October 2018, with aim to end 18-year-old war in Afghanistan.
