US army plays Indian Anm, a matter of pride
joint exercise began on Friday in Washington as part of ongoing defence co-operation between two nations. It is being conducted at Joint Base Lewis McChord, Washington.

joint exercise is named Yudh Abhyas and is one of largest joint-running military training and defence co-operation endeavours between India and US. Officials reportedly claim that armies will jointly plan, train and execute for neutralizations of threats during exercise and it comprised of mechanised forces with force multipliers integrating high techlogy platforms.

Joint exercise in its 15th edition
A joint exercise will be undertaken by both countries in an operational setting under UN. It will provide an opportunity to armed forces of India and US to train n an integrated manner at Battalion level, with planning at Brige level. Experts from both sides will hold acemic and military discussions to share each or's experiences on varied topics for mutual benefit. Multiple scenarios will be rehearsed to understand each or's organisation structure. exercise, which is in its 15th edition, is conducted alternately in India and US.

exercise was reportedly witnessed by Lieutenant General Ranbir Singh, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, rrn Command. After this, Lieutenant General Ranbir Singh was briefed about conduct of exercise by Lieutenant General YK Joshi, General Officer Commanding, Fire & Fury Corps.
