‘Super 30’ is now tax-free in three states, with the most populous state Uttar Pradesh also joining Bihar and Rajasthan in waving off tax for the Hrithik Roshan starrer. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has accepted mathematician-educationist Anand Kumar’s request to declare the film tax-free in the state. The CM sent his best wishes to the actor by stating that films on inspirational people could be a source of inspiration for the citizens.

Yogi Adityanath on Sunday tweeted that cinema is a reflection of the society. He wrote that films based on those individuals who have contributed immensely to society can inspire the citizens. The leader added that films can be a strong medium for educating the public. The Chief Minister then wished Hrithik that this endeavour through ‘Super 30’ movie proves fruitful.
The CM was replying to a post where Hrithik had conveyed his gratitude to him for declaring the film tax-free.

Hrithik plays the role of Anand Kumar, whose ‘Super 30’ programme to train students from the economically weaker sections for the Indian Institute of Technology- Joint Entrance Examination, has made headlines over the years.
Anand Kumar and his brother Pavan Kumar recently met Yogi Adityanath requesting him to declare the film tax-free in his state. As the UP Government announced its decision, Kumar had exulted, "Honourable Yogi Adityanath ji many thanks from the core of my heart. I will always remember and so will the young generation the way you honoured us and made ‘Super 30’ film tax free in UP.”

Earlier, Bihar, the state where the film is set and Rajasthan had also made the film tax-free. CM Ashok Gehlot respectively praising the movie on Twitter.
Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu had also showered praises on the movie.

‘Super 30’ is also receiving love at the ticket windows as it is inching closer to the Rs 100-crore club, having earned close to Rs 90 crore after Saturday’s collections.
