Sharda Sinha Last Rites: Popular folk singer Sharda Sinha, kwn as ‘ Bihar Kokila’ for her melodious rendition of Chhath and folk songs lost her battle with cancer at a hospital in New Delhi on Tuesday. She was 72. Her son has w shared updates on her last rites and mounted her demise.

Sharda Sinha's son Anshuman shares details of her last rites 

As per ANI, Sharda Sinha's son Anshuman informed us that singer's last rites will be held in Patna, family's hometown. He also shared that funeral will take place at same site as ir far's. He also expressed his sorrow for losing his mor and shared that morhood was a part of Sharda's personality and reflected in her songs as well.

About her last rites, Anshuman Sinha told ANI, "We have decided that last rites of my mor (Sharda Sinha) will take place at same place where my far's last rite was performed... refore, we will take her mortal remains to Patna tomorrow."

Anshuman also told ANI, “This is a sad time for us... She was very close to all of us. It was in her aura and singing that captivated everyone and this is a shocker for all of m. I am sure her loved ones will be as sad as me. Her morhood was clearly visible in her songs as well as in her personality. She left us on first day of Chhath Puja...She will always be re in hearts of people.”

He shared a post on social media as well. He shared a photo of his mor, and Chhathi Maiyaa took Sharda Sinha. He wrote in Hindi, "Your prayers and love will always be with mor. Mor has been called to her by Chhathi mor. Mor is longer with us physically."
