Shah Rukh Khan Gets Death Threat, Security Heightened at His Mumbai Home

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan received a death threat call on Thursday, vember 7. Soon after, Mumbai police registered an extortion case against accused at Bandra Police Station and launched an investigation into matter. According to sources, caller threatened to harm Shah Rukh Khan if Rs 50 Lakh weren't paid as ransom.

Acting swiftly, police traced unkwn caller's number and found that number was registered in name of Faizan from Raipur. reafter, a police team reached Raipur in Chhattisgarh to nab accused.  Meanwhile, security has been beefed up outside his Mumbai residence ‘Mannat’. 

“Bandra police station received a call threatening Shah Rukh Khan and asking for Rs 50 lakh. An offence has been registered. arrest has been me yet,” news ncy PTI quoted a senior police official as saying. case has been registered by Bandra police under sections 308(4) (extortion involving threats of death or serious injury) and 351(3)(4) (criminal intimidation) of Bharaitya Nyaya Sanhita against unkwn caller who threatened Shah Rukh Khan, official said.

Police teams have been dispatched at various places for furr investigation.
