Slamming BJP for promising free COVID-19 vaccine in ir poll manifesto for Bihar assembly elections, National Conference leer Omar Abdullah has asked if money for vaccines will be paid from party's (BJP) treasury. Taking to Twitter on Thursday, Omar Abdullah asked if government is paying for vaccines of people of Bihar n how can y ask for money from people of or states. Criticising BJP "populism", former CM of erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir said that party os shamefully exploiting COVID fears.

BJP's manifesto for Bihar elections
Just six days ahe of first phase of Bihar assembly elections, BJP has launched its manifesto in presence of Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Bihar BJP chief Sanjay Jaiswal and National General Secretary Bhupendra Yav in Patna. manifesto titled as '5 Sutra, 1 Lakshaya, 11 Sankalp' is based on BJP's campaign me for this year's assembly polls in state - 'Aatmanirbhar Bihar'. party which is banking on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's policies and decisions at Centre alongside Nitish Kumar's development nda for coming to power has promised to provide free vaccine to state subjects as and when it is approved.
While unveiling manifesto, Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said, "As soon as COVID-19 vaccine will be available for production at a mass scale, every person in Bihar will get free vaccination. This is first promise mentioned in our poll manifesto."

Bihar Assembly Elections will be held in three phases - on October 28, vember 3 and vember 7 - and counting of votes will be held on vember 10. Nitish Kumar is seeking reelection and is CM face for NDA. Mahagathbandhan has chosen Tejashwi Yav as ir CM face. BJP is contesting on a seat-sharing formula of 121-122 seats with JDU and Mukesh Sahni of Vikasheel Insaan party and Jitan Ram Manjhi of HAM(S) is contesting on BJP's share. Mahagathbandhan comprising of Congress and three left parties have are contesting on seat-sharing formula of 144-70-29 seats respectively.
