PM Modi in Varanasi speaks on development projects, calls for greater public participation

Prime Minister Narendra Modi after attending centenary celebrations in Shri Jagguru Vishwarhya Gurukul, dressed a garing on Sunday in Varanasi. Prime Minister spoke about on-going projects and accomplishments. Speaking at garing, he said, " government is trying to expand all Indian langus, including Sanskrit, to benefit younger generation."
Prime Minister furr ded, "Just as Kashi and youth of country have brought 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan' to every ok and corner of country, we also have to deliver more resolutions throughout country."
PM Modi arrived in his parliamentary constituency on Sunday morning. He was received by Goverr Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister Yogi ityanath, state ministers, BJP leers and officials.

On several projects
While dressing crowd, Prime Minister Modi anunced a few important projects that have been completed recently or, are on verge of completion. He said, "Work on projects that are worth Rs 7 thousand crores have been completed under Namami Gange campaign. Projects worth over 21,000 crores are in progress. We are trying to complete all fast-tracked projects."
Speaking about Ayodhya verdict, PM Modi said, " verdict for Shriram temple h been hanging in court for deces. But w, way for grand Ram temple in Ayodhya has been paved." Speaking about formation of an automous trust- 'Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra' for construction of Ram temple, he said, "se trusts will see construction of grand and divine Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya at Lord Sri Ram's birthplace."
PM Modi furr anunced ar major decision related to construction of Ram temple. He said, " 67 acres of land that was acquired under Ayodhya Act will also be transferred to newly formed Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth area."

PM Modi on importance of public participation
According to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, major campaigns in country cant be run solely by government. For this, public participation is very important, he said. Citing an example, he said, "If re is an unprecedented improvement in Ganga water in last 5-6 years, n public participation has a lot of importance behind it."

He furr ded that "A country is t me of its government but by ethos ('Sanskara') of each and every citizen. Sanskara of citizens makes ir commitment stronger."

PM Modi's visit to Varanasi
PM Modi during his visit to Varanasi participated in closing ceremony of Centenary Celebrations of Shri Jagguru Vishwarhya Gurukul. He also released translated version of Granth in 19 langus and a mobile application of Granth.
He will furr unveil a 63-feet statue of Pancha Loha Statue of Pt Deendayal Uphyaya at Pandit Deendayal Uphyaya Memorial Centre. He is also set to inaugurate over 30 or projects in Varanasi, which includes a 430-bed super speciality government hospital at Kashi Hindu Vishwavidyalaya (BHU) and a 74-bed psychiatry hospital at BHU.

Prime Minister will also flag-off a Maha Kaal Express through video link. train will connect 3 Jyotirling Pilgrim Centres – Varanasi, Ujjain, and Omkareshwar, which will be first overnight journey private train in country.
PM Modi will also be inaugurating a 'Kashi Ek Roop Anek' exhibition at Pandit Deendayal Uphyaya Hastakala Sankul, where he will interact with artists from different nations. exhibition will showcase products from over 100 artisans from all over state. artists will also be imparted skills to improve quality and branding of ir wares suitable to larger national and international markets.
