Bank Holiday 2024: Reserve Bank of India ( RBI ) has released bank holiday schedule for vember 2024.

Banks will be closed for a total of 12 days this month, including holidays for regional festivals, national events, and or observances, with closures varying by location. This list also includes all Sundays, as well as second and fourth Saturdays.

vember 1 (Friday): Banks will be closed in states such as Tripura, Karnataka, Uttarakhand, Jammu & Kashmir, Maharashtra , Meghalaya , Sikkim, and Manipur for Deepavali, Kut, and Kannada Rajyotsava.
 
vember 2 (Saturday): Banks in Gujarat , Maharashtra , Karnataka, Rajasthan , Sikkim, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, and or states will be closed for Diwali , Laxmi Puja, and Govardhan Puja. te that this is first Saturday of month, which is t a bank holiday.

vember 3 (Sunday): Banks across all Indian states and union territories (UTs) will be closed.

vember 7 (Thursday): Banks will remain closed in some states, including Bengal, Bihar , and Jharkhand , for Chhath (Evening Arghya).

vember 8 (Friday): Banks will remain closed in some states, such as Bihar , Jharkhand , and Meghalaya , for Chhath (Morning Arghya)/Wangala Festival.

vember 9 (Saturday): Second Saturday

vember 10 (Sunday): Sunday

vember 15 (Friday): On occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti/Karthika Purnima/Rahas Purnima, banks will be closed in Mizoram , Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh , Orissa, Chandigarh, Uttarakhand, Telangana, Arunachal Pradesh , Rajasthan , Jammu, Uttar Pradesh, Nagaland , Bengal, New Delhi, Chhattisgarh , Jharkhand, Himachal Pradesh , and Srinagar.

vember 18 (Monday): Banks will be closed in Karnataka for Kanakadasa Jayanti.

vember 23 (Saturday): In Meghalaya, banks will be closed for Seng Kutsnem. vember 23 is also fourth Saturday.

vember 24 (Sunday): Sunday

From vember 1-3, banks in Karnataka and Maharashtra will be closed for four consecutive days, while banks in Uttarakhand and Sikkim will have a three-day closure followed by Sunday. On vember 23, banks in Meghalaya will also be closed.

During se holidays, bank branches will be unavailable; however, customers can still use digital banking services such as online banking, mobile apps, and ATMs, except in cases of scheduled maintenance.
