Washington: Elon Musk, who is soon to be a part of Donald Trump government, has revealed his first move or thoughts on how American taxpayers money should be spent wisely.

A tweet shared on social media X by ELON FACTS ‘D.O.G.E on Nov 13 comes with an interesting caption that says, “If a government official is effective in spending your money, y should be rewarded. If y waste your money, y should be fired.” 

This post has been retweeted by Elon Musk himself, saying, ‘Incentives matter. re should be rewards for wise spending, but those who waste taxpayer funds cannot be allowed to keep doing so without consequences.’ 

In his social media post, Elon Musk looks confident and shares his thoughts on how taxpayer money should be well channelled by government, failing which government should be fired.

Elon Musk, Vivek Ramaswamy to be Part of Trump Government

US President-elect Donald Trump has announced that Tesla owner Elon Musk and Indian American entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy will le Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE, aimed at improving governance and curbing wasteful expenditures.

Trump has also given m a deline of July 4, 2026, 250th Anniversary of Declaration of Independence.

“I am pleased to announce that Great Elon Musk, working in conjunction with American Patriot Vivek Ramaswamy, will le Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE),” Trump announced late on Tuesday.

Ramaswamy, 37, is first Indian American to have been tapped by Trump into his ministration beginning January 20 next year. His parents migrated to US from Kerala and worked at a General Electric plant in Ohio.

“I look forward to Elon and Vivek making changes to federal bureaucracy with an eye on efficiency and, at same time, making life better for all Americans. Importantly, we will drive out massive waste and fraud which exists throughout our annual USD 6.5 trillion of government spending,” said president-elect.
